Not even the local medical pharmacies knew what we were asking about, until we knew the correct word of stockingnette.My mom ended up sewing her own stockingnette for me.All this stress might've been unnecessary if this black covering had been longer & more developed for a healing, wide, fragile foot. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Depending on cast you may need to modify opening *by M***S on Reviewed in the United States on September 12, 2019* Ordered this for my son’s cast after having foot surgery. Basically what I expected from the photos. I had hoped the non skid on the bottom would cover more of the area. The opening is too small to fit up the entire foot cast, I plan to cut it and make the opening larger so it fits on the foot without dangling off the toes and hope that it will bring the non skid to a more central part of the cast/bottom of foot area. The buckle stays put and doesn’t loosen with wear and movement. The plastic foot piece was a death trap it was so slippery- making transferring from sitting to standing and moving around very difficult. I found this grip sock on amazon and it was perfect. It was easy to get on and off for both me and him.
