The Waterproof Matches have been ruined and seem to be growing bits of fungus on them, I am pretty sure the batteries are useless as well, the rest of the stuff is seriously humid, and will have to see if anything else is ruined. At first I thought it might have broken during the shipment, but the rust in the stainless steel tool looks like its been going on for way longer than a month, and I only ordered 2 weeks ago. I believe they should check what they are sending, before shipping.----- EDIT ----- April 26 -----Apparently they saw my post, and feel sorry about it, and have offered to exchange it. Will report as soon as this happens. Thank you.------RE-EDIT----------------A replacement was sent, and everything is perfect. I absolutely love everything about the kit. Positively shocking. *by M***P on November 6, 2017* Have you ever watched a James Bond movie and thought to yourself, "How convenient is that? He used every single gadget that was given to him by Q." Well, now you, too, can feel like you're in a James Bond movie as you equip your vehicle with the life-saving gadgets necessary to do just about everything! You might be asking yourself, "When would I ever need all of this random stuff?" Uh, maybe you haven't considered the scenario where the car driving in front of you blows out a tire, rolls down a mild hill and plunges into a dark cavern steaming with sulfuric gases. Don't worry! Just toss those LED GLOW STICKS down the dark cave to light the way and attach your LED HEADLAMP and your WRISTBAND (don't forget the EXTRA BATTERIES!). As you prepare to enter the cavern, it would be wise to leave your LED BEACON at the entrance so the emergency crews can find you. "But I can't breath in that cave! I'll surely die!" Most likely, unless you have a handy MASK you can put on! Grab the rest of the bag and begin your descent into the cave. As you descend, you notice that the temperature is dropping rapidly. Lucky for you, there's HAND WARMERS to keep your dexterity at its peak. Continuing on, you can't help but notice the time. How deep is this cave? How long have you been hiking? When was the last time you ate or drank anything? Open up that bag and you'll find FOOD BARS and WATER POUCHES to satiate your needs. Your journey continues. Up ahead, you see the lights of the vehicle as it teeters on the edge of a cliff. Your walk turns into a run. You make it to the vehicle but the doors are locked and the driver is unconscious. You pull out your WINDSHIELD BREAKER to bust out the windshield. Worried about getting a cut, you quickly put on your UTILITY GLOVES and climb into the vehicle. The driver is trapped by the seatbelt that has been jammed by the passenger seat. That same tool you used on the windshield can now be used to cut through the seat belt to remove the driver. Just then, you hear the cracking of rocks and the skidding of tires on the dirt. The cliff is collapsing with you and the driver inside! Instinctively, you grab the driver and jump through the hole the windshield once occupied to safety. Now, the hard part. Examining the driver, you can't help but notice the broken arm and gash across the forehead. You reach for the FIRST AID KIT as if you've been an EMT all your life. After sewing up the gash and bandaging the driver up, you use the DUCT TAPE to create a makeshift cast to hold the arm in place. Don't forget the DUST MASK as the driver needs to breath too! (And now you no longer question why you'd been given two.) Wrapping the driver in one of your MYLAR BLANKETS, you sling them over your shoulder and begin your climb out. Once you reach the entrance of the cave, you notice that a torrential downpour has begun and made your continued journey almost impossible. You reach for the MATCHES (which were kept remarkably dry thanks to the handy WATERPROOF BAG everything was packed in) and build a fire to keep warm. Being in this cave for this long has also made you realize your basic need of a latrine. Don't worry, you've got a handy WASTE DISPOSAL BAG at your fingertips. Perfect for those who firmly believe in the old adage, "if you pack it in, you pack it out." The rain is finally starting to let up and the driver has finally regained consciousness. Donning your PONCHOS, you begin the last leg of your hike where you find yourself greeted by emergency responders and members of the Queen's Guard. Unbeknownst to you, the driver you rescued was the Queen of England! Later that week, while at the accolade receiving your knighthood, you can't help but imagine how much better your life had become all because of this one, simple purchase.
