Simple
Very easy to setup. Secure method to make sure my apartment is not entered while i am away by notifying my phone if it detects motion. The 4 cameras cover more area than i need but its super simple to setup so i installed all 4. Pretty much just plug into an outlet and setup with 2g wifi through the app. Micro SD card for storage or upgrade to a premium account in the app

Great cameras.
The media could not be loaded. I have been using these cameras for almost a year, and the quality is great, connectivity is awesome. I use my cameras as baby monitors for the dog who gets into things when we aren't home. My kid also gets hurt a lot and it's nice to go back and look at the footage of exactly what they did. High quality. I'm not sure why people are having connectivity issues but i haven't had a single one. I allow my mom access because she lives too far for her to spend time with her grand baby and it's a great way for them to communicate. My kid waves at my mom through the camera. Once my bf had the door open and a man just randomly walked in the house and got cozy on the couch. I was luckily at the doctors because my kid had a fever and I was also sick, and the man just walked in. Glad we had cameras to see the footage of this man. I'd say we benefited alot from these cameras and I will continue to use them. Bought longer cords and sd cards which wasn't much more. Sd cards cost maybe $15 for 3 i think, and the cords were $10 for 4 20ft. I probably should have gotten less footage of cords lol. I got these cameras when they were $40 so it was great value for me. It's easy to set up, easy to use the app, picture is clear. I love them.

Unreliable Product and Deplorable Customer Service - Avoid This Brand
I purchased four Kami cameras, expecting reliable security devices, but this has been one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve ever had with a product and its customer service. Here’s a detailed account of what went wrong:Misleading Subscription Process: In January 2025, while setting up the cameras via the YI Home App, I was misled into subscribing to a $46 plan without clear consent. The app’s interface had a deceptive “Go Experience” button with no explicit subscription prompts, leading to an unexpected charge via Apple Pay. Despite contacting Kami’s support within their refund period, they refused to issue a refund, claiming I needed to go through Apple, which was unhelpful and evasive.Incorrect and Unusable Cameras Sent Without Consent: Kami initially promised four high-end cameras with specific features (e.g., Micro USB power, 5G compatibility, outdoor use) in early February 2025. Instead, in mid-February, they sent four light bulb security cameras (model CL201 by Shenzhen DZinno) without my approval. These cameras were completely unusable—they didn’t turn on, lacked a user manual, and required light bulb sockets I didn’t have. Worse, they had no recognizable brand, and I couldn’t find any information about them online, raising concerns about their quality and authenticity.Broken Promises and Delays: Kami repeatedly promised to send replacement cameras, first claiming they’d arrive in 3-4 days after February 9, 2025, then delaying to mid-March. Despite providing my shipping details and following up multiple times, I received no updates or tracking information. Their responses were inconsistent, often ignoring my emails or offering inadequate solutions, like sending only two more cameras instead of the four I needed.Unresponsive and Unprofessional Customer Service: Since February, I’ve sent over a dozen emails, including a final plea on April 20, 2025, warning that I’d leave a negative review if ignored. It’s now over a week later, and Kami has completely stopped responding. Their team has been evasive, failed to take responsibility for sending the wrong cameras, and refused to cover return shipping costs for the unusable devices they sent without my consent. This ordeal has dragged on for months, costing me time, money, and peace of mind. Kami’s cameras are unreliable, their app is deceptive, and their customer service is abysmal—ignoring valid complaints and breaking promises without accountability. I strongly advise against purchasing from this brand. I’m now forced to escalate this through Amazon’s complaint system and share my experience on social media to warn others.

Amazing cameras but..
This are a little tricky because the company has 2 different apps to use one is yi home and the other is kami home from what I found out is that I guess the kami home is a little newer once you get the app then the bull started so I downloaded kami home and got the first one hooked up it prompts you saying you need a cloud membership and it's only 45.99 for a year so since I got the 4 pack I figured it was for multi cameras so I paid it when I go to hook another one it says I need a cloud membership to view the feed I was confused so I left it alone went back to the home page and a ad shows up saying upgrade to this and you can have up to 5 cameras connected just pay the difference so I read it and for another 50.43 for a year with up to 5 cameras I figured perfect I have 4 cameras I'll be able to view them all. So I upgrade close the app and reopen it and nope still can't so I try finding contact information on the company and that wasn't easy after a full day of emailing every address I could find I get a response and more run around I finally tell the people I just want to cancel the membership and get a refund and they come back with they can use the 50.43 I paid for the cloud for one and charge me monthly for cloud access for the 4 cameras and they will throw in 3 months free. I declined it and asked for my money to be refunded and I asked if both transactions would be refunded they came back with there was only one transaction and it was for the 50.43 I told them that 45.99 and 50.43 where both taken out of my bank so another back and forth and they finally came back saying they would submit it for return so yes I got the refund and ordered sd cards for the cameras and will see if then I can access the storaged videos or if a membership is required and will update on that. However the cameras are amazing the stands are a little crappy but they work. Picture quality is good audio is good the motion detection is great so far and no lag. You can turn off the indicator light if you want through the app you can have conversations through the app and the camera. You can share the cameras feed with someone else. You can change the settings to super sensitive to less sensitive. So all in all the cameras are amazing however they trick you into thinking you have to have a membership (will update on if that's true or not)
