It covers and protects my iPad 6th Gen. very well. The magnetic closure operates the wake/sleep function properly and it’s not uncomfortable to hold in one or both hands.That said… it is faux leather. It has the right feel to be a reasonable facsimile thereof but it’s clear to the discerning eye it’s not the real McCoy. I knew that going in and it doesn’t bother me a bit, I mean the price was very reasonable. The manner in which it holds the tablet works but the corner pictured is slightly askew. It doesn’t affect performance, but it bothers my OCD. My only real complaint is that the on/off button is extremely difficult to get to. While it’s not always necessary for the operation of the iPad (the cover puts the iPad in sleep mode when closed) it’s very difficult to operate the button to take screen caps.Had this been a higher price point these two things may have given me cause to return it, but as I said- it gets the job done. You get what you pay for, and I knew that going into this purchase. If the corner wasn’t askew and the on/off button easier to access I’d give it four stars. No sharp edges to get caught and break. Open access to all ports and camera. I have been through 2 cases. This is my third. I have had it several months.It had a nice finger strap to help hold the tablet while the car is open. There is stitching all the way around the case. A front pocket on the outside of the lid of the case. A handy stylus hold on the outer edge of the case also. The rounded corners are smooth and well sewn. It also has a soft velvet like inner lining. My it pad is securely nestled in this case.
