Review: Perfect Carhartt - I've been buying Carhartt for over 27 years and yes the quality has went down. However for "work wear" it's still the top of the market. The way I can describe these is they are like the true duck carpenter pants with a tad stretch 99% cotton. I typically wear a 32 33 and bought the 34 washed inside out and they shrunk perfectly 1 size. I normally hang dry and after the 1 wash I will continue to hang dry. No issue as others state in legnth or inconsistencies. If they made double knee not double thigh is buy. Highly recommend.

Great work pants, good fit for me true to size. Only thing I wish is there could be some flex without sacrificing the solid feel of these canvas pants. Crouching kneeling etc can be annoying in these if I’m having a fat day lol. When I’m feeling trim and fit they can still be annoying but that’s the trade off of having a rigid and durable pant. Overall they are great and serve their purpose well.
