## Description

A flat sheet of water cascading effortlessly into a pool, pond or fountain is a spectacle to be seen. Drive your landscape and pool design forward with these almost hidden spillway channels, that push a flat sheet of water nearly silently up to 3 ft. The Tomaso is a very versatile sheer descent spillway because of its little amount of intrusion into wall designs. Often these smooth water sheer descent spillways are built into walls covered in stacked stone, granite, or tile, with the spillway nearly hidden. The aesthetics are well-maintained when the spillway is not in use, as it is not detracting from the scenery. Manufactured from ABS plastic, these sheer descent spillways have the highest level of corrosion resistance in environments where heavy concentrations of chemicals can decompose the highest of qualities of metal. These cascading falls are baffled to ensure that water sheeting and distribution across the entire length of the sheer descent spillway is consistent. The exterior of these spillways is slightly rough to ensure that they bond into place using mortar, construction adhesives, or other means of attachment.

Our pool builder was not interested in honoring his warranty unfortunately, so we wanted to make sure we got the best product out there. Although this Tomaso is more expensive than others here on desertcart, it is FAR better quality. The material is thicker and seems much better constructed. Will update this review if we have issues.
Review: Aria hotel inspired waterfall project. - I ordered 2 of these 84 inch long cascading spillway and they came quickly without any damage. They're heavy, great quality thick ABS. I mounted them side by side for a total of 14 feet long. The final dimensions of the waterfall is 16 ft wide and 7 ft tall from the ground to the top. They were easy to install and best of all they have flow control valves with large handles that are easy to adjust. I wanted a trickle flow so I turned both valves to half power and it worked out perfectly. I get a continuous trickle down the stones that sounds so relaxing.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: if I use this as an indoor shower, will a 3/4" outlet work or will I need a separate pump?**
A: To get a decent enough stream for a shower, you cannot go wider than 8", due to volume restrictions from small piping in a house. 

You also would never want to use this specific product in an indoor shower application as it has a tank on the bottom that will hold water when shut off, creating a serious mold problem potentially.  For this very reason, we offer a line of similar products that are specific for indoor applications.

**Q: Can this be connected to the bottom or just the top?**
A: This unit for sale on Amazon is back fed, meaning the inlet for plumbing connection is in the back.  We do sell them with bottom inlet options, as well.

**Q: We purchased this spillway....but we misplaced the key...does they key adjust the waterfall....cause right now it just runs straight down**
A: Hello Sharon,

What do you mean by key?  This spillway only comes with the actual spillway itself and a cleaning tool in case of a clog.  

What pump are you running and what size piping and lift (height from pump to the spillway) do you have?  Depending on the desired effect, you should have at least 600GPH at your lift height.  Sounds like your pump might not be large enough for your spillway.

**Q: Does the water come out as a curtain?**
A: It comes out as a water sheet.
