It works perfectly! It's designed to pull the sheet, so they're meant to fall short. Once you attach them to the mattress and flip it over, it sorts itself out. It needs to be tight, otherwise the sheet will just move around regardless. This has been such a sanity saver for me. Regardless of having a fitted sheet, it always came off of the corners and often wake me up because I'd either have a limb entangled like it was trying to eat me in my sleep, or because of the texture of the mattress itself. Just brilliant! It was quite a tough job turning the mattress to fix them, but it was well worth it. I used them to secure a waterproof mattress cover. The stretch was sufficient to fix the mattress cover by width. The clips are strong and hold very tightly, and they are easy to operate. My mattress cover is firmly fixed in place, and the covering sheet has also stayed in place. I can highly recommend these.
