I weigh about 220 lbs and it doesn’t even budge when I step on it. It does take some assembly but it wasn’t hard and it came with the little tools you need (I used my own tools) took me about 15 min to put it together. It’s not super heavy but it’s heavy enough so it hasn’t blown around in the wind. The top of the steps have a cushion non slip foam that you have to stick on (just take your time and line it up. When wet It doesn’t feel slippery. It’s really hot here in Arizona and the foam grip tops of the steps are staying put so far. (It is under cover and not in direct sun) Also this thing looks nice with my hot tub and backyard space. I would buy again.
