To enjoy the maximum benefit only use the black nubbed side against hot surfaces. Our unique FLXaPrene material helps you safely remove hot food from the oven to the table. Made of a non-porous material that stops bacteria growth, which prevents stains that cause bacteria buildup on the glove are heat-resistant 500 F/260 C to -134 F/-92C. Non-slip grip, non-skid, raised nub surface creates more insulation between the hand and heat source. Straight stitch with reinforced zigzag stitching. Extra length, 14-inch/35-1/2cm. Made in USA.

I previously owned a pair of kitchen mitts made by this company. I can assure you  that you will not feel  heat when you have them on. The only problem I have with the new set of mitts is that they have a greater length than my other ones. Thus it takes a little bit longer to put them on and take them off. Perhaps after I have used them for a significant period of time them will be easier to slip on and off. Another reason why I purchased them is that they are made in the USA! A good product!

They're too large and too narrow. I loved the earlier design of these oven mitts, but had to return these because they were useless.
