Review: Great purchase - I’ve only used a couple days so far but the install, setup, and Bluetooth connection have been great. Persons on receiving end of the phone calls have told me they hear me just fine (even with Diesel engine noise). Improvement to music audio from my last Jensen head unit. I have not used the app feature yet. Wireless phone charger extension is definitely the cool feature. Charge pad has a tension spring clamp to hold phone in place. The vibrations and shaking of the truck are held in check. It does charge my phone quickly. Steering wheel wireless buttons would be my only con so far. It worked the first and third day, but not on the second. Could be the battery in it. At this point I’m just going to stick that in the glove box. I recommend this unit. If I have any issues, I’ll do an update to the post. Update: Have been using for several months now. Never did retry the steering wheel attachment, honestly don’t need it. Bluetooth always connects to my phone with no issues playing music and also no problems with connectivity during phone calls. Everybody that rides in my truck loves the charge pad and wants to get one. After months of using, I’m attached to easy view of Google maps in use while secured to the charge pad. No need for phone mounts or handling your phone while using GPS.
Review: Quick install, great unit - I just received my Jensen a.m. FM Bluetooth radio which replaces one that I had previously that finally gave out. This is in my 2005 Toyota Corolla. Very basic wiring install very small unit without the CD. I was surprised how short it was in the back. But everything worked great took me less than 20 minutes to take it out and put in the new one. Functionality no problems at all more presets on AM FM that I would ever use. Bluetooth functionality works great and answering the phone and speaker coming through from my phone. No problems with connectivity. Microphone seems to work well for Bluetooth. Definitely a great buy for the price.

**Q: Does the stereo come with harness included??**
A: As of December 2021, it comes with a harness with the unit plug and loose wires on the other end. The wires are color coded in different colors and stripe combinations with the schematic in the instructions. The battery power for backup comes with an in-line 10A fuse installed, which I would cut out if you are wiring into a circuit that already has a 10A or lower fuse. 

If you cannot reuse your vehicle's factory stereo harness, I recommend purchasing a universal stereo harness for you vehicle that will plug into your vehicle's harness. The you simply butt-connect (crimp or solder) together the universal harness and the stereo harness that comes with this stereo.

**Q: Is the included wire harness copper wired? If not, how do I connect them to my car's wires that are copper? Want to connect them directly w/o kit.**
A: The harness included in this kit has aluminum wires, but there is no issue connecting them to copper wires in a low-amp, dry location like under the dash. For this stereo, soldering and shrink insulating is absolute overkill. Simply use proper-sized butt crimp connectors to attach the stereo harness to either your factory stereo harness if you can reuse it, or purchase a universal plug for your vehicle that plugs into your vehicle's harness on one end and has loose wires on the other end that will butt-connect to the stereo wires. The stereo instructions have the wiring color schematic for the stereo harness, and most universal harnesses for your vehicle will have the wiring either marked or include a schematic.

**Q: Valume only goes upbto 40 with is not that loud to be honest.**
A: I have a sound system, I got 2,000 watts for bass (DB Drive subs and amp) and 1,000 watts for voice ( alpine door speakers with a DS18 amp) I’m very satisfied.

**Q: Will I need to buy something else to get this to fit a 2006 Honda Pilot that had a navigation system?**
A: Yes you will need an install kit Amazon has the Metra 99-7861 i stall kit that fits your vehicle its like less than 20 bucks

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolute no-brainer!

I purchased this little Jensen to replace the factory head unit in a friends 2006 Hyundai Tuscon. Made up a quick harness/adaptor before install day and after removing the old unit it literally took a couple of minutes and the job was complete! Fits perfectly, works perfectly and sounds incredible... however you need to be careful when testing as it's far more powerful than the factory head unit and I accidentally blew the front drivers side speaker in the process, whoops :) All good though as even a couple of inexpensive replacements will round the whole upgrade off nicely.
