Not only does it makes carrying the scooter easier (over your shoulder), but the ability to pull the scooter behind you and up hills while your child stands on their scooter adds enormous value. It has been very useful for us and would definitely recommend to parents whose kids are new to scooting around.We use it when my daughter is a bit tired and can have a little rest, also when the road is a bit crowded (to help her maneuver) or to be in control in case there is a sudden need to stop.We don't have a micro scooter so I can't comment on whether it is any different, but we can't use the strap for carrying the scooter on the back unfortunately.
