I’m slowly moving away from the luxury products such as Elemis & Pai because they continue to increase their prices so often! This is a lovely thick oil. One or two pumps is plenty for a full face of makeup. You do need to emulsify with water & then I remove using a reusable face cloth. I was disappointed with the scent - it’s rather earthy which is a shame - I do prefer cleansing products to have light floral scents. I use it in the morning & evening. In the evening I use it to remove my makeup & then I second cleanse with a gentle cream cleanser.
