OWYN Only What You Need Plant-Based Protein Powder, Smooth Vanilla, 1.05 lbs

I read the reviews after I got my order 🫣yesterday. It’s sweet.. which was unexpected. I made it in a regular cup with 8 oz of milk (stirred with a fork) it has a slight thickness to it alone but haven’t tried it with fruit yet. It’s easy to clean with 20 grams of protein to keep you fuller longer depending what you eat with it. It’s easy to use and sometimes I add two shots of decaf and it’s like a Starbucks latte🤌🏾. I will be getting this from now on!🥰It smells heavenly to me .. like a hint of maple syrup or birthday cake and tasted delicious!! It’s not gritty and has no after taste. My teens liked it as well which is shocking lol. The container was pretty full. I have had no digestive issues.

It’s great! I’m allergic to cow’s milk, so almond milk is my go to with OWYN. It tastes good, no clumping, it’s not thick & clumpy, if it is just add more milk or if you prefer water, it doesn’t make me gassy. It’s a great meal or snack, add you favorite fruit too! Enjoy!!! Great protein that we need!

I bought this protein powder in the hopes that I could get back into smoothies. I didn't want to go the milk protein route because of GI issues that can give me (depends on the brand as to how much), so I tried this. The flavor is actually pretty good, it blends well and it doesn't feel chalky. My main complaint with it is how sickly sweet it is. I actually prefer chocolate flavor, so I put 7 ounces of unsweetened cocoa powder into the container and shook vigorously until the cocoa was evenly mixed throughout the powder. It tastes amazing and it cut down on the overly sweet issue a good bit. (I do have to put a bit more water into the mix because cocoa powder sucks up huge amounts of liquid.) I will definitely keep buying this on a subscription basis. It does what it's supposed to do, doesn't taste weird or chemical, and I can turn it into a chocolate drink easily.

Tastes like chalk. No option to get a refund if you don't like it. The container size and how much cones in it, makes no sense. My container has less than half in it..... This is just my honest opinion. Someone else might like it. Sicko

I really like this brand and have bought their pre-mixed shakes for a while now. It's good stuff that helps balance out my diet and it doesn't have that weird synthetic taste of lot of other replacement shakes do. I figured I'd try their powder since it's gotta be more economical but the thing showed up over half empty! I took that picture after opening it. I couldn't believe it! The actual powder itself is still really good and I use it in some foods and in shakes and such. I'm just really disappointed in how little came with the jar of it's size, like c'mon...

I love the Vanilla! I haven't tried the chocolate since there's no way to sample it before I'm spend the money . Sometimes chocolate is not so easy on my stomach. It is ridiculous that they are putting this powder in a huge container though and I think I will see who can answer why. It mixes up so smoothly in my Nutra Bullet I use 16oz of Blue Diamond Vanilla Almond milk, and add a cut up frozen banana, a1/2 cup of frozen blueberry's and 1/2 cup of dark red frozen cherries. It's delicious! I drink half of this mixture for breakfast and the rest of it for a mid afternoon snack every day. I think the real trick is using my Nutra Bullet because stirring it does not dissolve it well and leaves it with a gritty texture . It' was worth buying the Nutra Bullet !!!

This protein powder is fantastic! Every morning I make a smoothie with 2 scoops of this powder in vanilla , PB2 powder, flax seeds, frozen banana slices and frozen strawberries with vanilla almond milk. I’m on a GLP1 so the protein is needed and as a vegetarian I need something that meets that criteria. It’s not gritty once blended. Taste delicious. 😋

The flavor isn't bad but its not good in a shake. The powder itself is like a dust cloud when you scoop it and the texture is meehhh. Also if you forget to rinse the cup it smells so bad. Like musty moth balls. I do think its delicious in pancakes mix, and decent mixed with yogurt. I won't use if for shakes but I will mix it in things.

It functioned, mostly. Terrible taste. The shaker didn't like it. Not again.

Tastes absolutely disgusting - buy if you want to feel like u r drinking powdered plastic

Has a really strange taste and huge container used to package. Only about half full. Does fill you up though and is gluten free.
