**Q: Aren't they too warm for 60+F (+15C) weather? Spring backpacking.**
A: These are a great pair of boots! I'm on my second pair. I have never had a problem with them being to hot. I have walked at -25 degrees and backpacked with them in the 90's. Their a comfortable and water proof boot. Great, great boot for the money. Hope this helps?

A: I m not familiar with Merrel .But, based on myExperience this boot is 100%GTX
