The "Filter Life" light will turn red when 120 gal of water have been filtered. I can hear the pump running, but no water comes through the system. $150 water filter that doesn't filter water - what a bargain! I bought a "brand name" to avoid this silliness, so now I've spent time setting it up, trying everything to make it work, and now I'll have to spend even more time returning the dumb machine. Not thrilled, to say the least. Update two days later: I was so frustrated with the unit not working that I waited a couple of days to pack it back up for return. I left the water in the tank and just walked away from it. When I went back today, I just plugged the unit in, thinking "what the heck, maybe it will work today." I pressed the water dispensing button and it began to work fine. I have no idea what changed - I had plugged and unplugged it multiple times before in hopes of a "reset", but today, it worked. Seems to work now as advertised, so I'm changing my rating from 1 start to 3.
