Review: The right tool for the job - Excellent item. This helped me solve the technical challenge of moving data from an old dead desktop to a laptop. It was simple to hook up and worked quickly. I had no issues or interruptions during the transfer.
Review: Great for data recovery. - I purchased another brand years ago and it failed on day one. This setup is working well for me. I have over 20+ drives from past systems. (I used to build and repair computer boxes) I've used it so far to recover data from five of the drives. I like the system a lot. So far, I've only used it to work on two drives simultaneously. But I had no trouble or problems with the setup. I can easily recommend the equipment to be used in your data recovery efforts. I haven't attempted to clone a drive. I haven't needed to clone a drive yet. So, I can't give you any information in that direction.

I have only had it for a couple of days but the 6 different hard drives that I have tried so far all worked as expected. They are older drives from Seagate, Maxtor, and Western Digital ranging from 250 GB to 1.5 TB with different interfaces. Great deal at $ $25. I probably have at least a dozen to still try and will update if anything changes. Update: The night that I wrote the review it failed. No hassle return through Kohl's and a free replacement arrived in a few days which seems to work fine so far.
