This is the 4th time that I have replaced my screen so I have had some practice. Remove back cover, remove battery, remove all screws. Then the back part of the frame comes off. Pop all the robbon cable connectors off and the antenna wire. Remove the circuit board and cameras. Then use the tools to remove the old touch screen digitizer. Now your are ready to install the new touch screen digitizer. This is the first screen I got that came with adhesive. The adhesive is a pink sheet. I removed the protective film around the outside edge (the area that makes contact with the frame of the phone) of the adhesive sheet and stuck it to my phone leaving the protective film on the center. I pressed it down really well around the edges and then removed the protective film from the exposed side of the adhesive sheet. I then peeled the center out (adhesive layer and remaining protective film underneath. The screen has a very thin cloudy protective film on the inside. If you try to remove it and a thick part starts pealing up, STOP. That is the digitizer. The cloudy film is really thin. ### ⭐⭐⭐ I followed some videos online for the tear down and that went fine. The digitizer appears to work (it's only been on 20 minutes.) but the box came with ZERO labels.For the next person- the gunk already on the back of the digitizer is just a protective thing. The adhesive is in the pink flat thing. Take the one already on, off, and god speed trying to get the pink thing to do as it should. I am pretty sure the adhesive I got was for a different phone but I made it work.The digitizer is a bit less reactive than I am used to- but I don't use the phone heavily. I mostly listen to music and text lightly. That is why I am still using such an old phone.
