The items inside looked to be in good condition. Decided to try the turntable first before unpackaging the rest of the items. Right out of the box the Turntable did not turn, my guess is that's why it looked like it had been returned, because it had. Downloaded the software and attempted to create an account as per the instructions but the link did not work. Tried for a couple of days but nothing. I decided to go no further and returned the whole set. Don't know if the scanner itself is any good since I never got that far.
