Review: Hammer Of The Gods - Solid build, looks well made and feels like it will last, although time will tell. Nice looking finish, bright enough colours to not lose easily (I never buy black / grey / brown tools if I can avoid it). It feels absolutely mighty in use, nice weight and balance, and a precise but brutal straight claw. At 20oz weight it might be too heavy for some, but as a demolition hammer or when you need a little more oomph it’s a great weapon in the arsenal. I also have the OX 16oz curved claw hammer for repetitive or lighter work, it’s also a fine tool.

A: Right handed

**Q: Can this be used to break off plaster and expose the brick wall behind it?**
A: I did not review this item. I reviewed a claw hammer. However the hammer you are enquiring about would probably do the job. You might be better off with a club hammer, brick bolster chisel and scutch comb chisel depending on the amount of plaster and how thick and hard the base render is.

Solid build, looks well made and feels like it will last, although time will tell.
