Are you kidding me? I hardly pay this for fillet mignon when I go to a fancy restaurant.And this is not jerky. This is meat simply dried to the point where it crumbles to dust. Price is good @ 16 ish. It is real dehydrated chicken with no artificial smells. She is 7lbs and gets one in the morning for her wakeup treat. We have been getting this mfg for like 3 bags now and she never got sick from it. I only give her 1 as any strait meats seem to give her the runs.******VERY IMPORTANT - For all chews, even rawhide******1)Make sure to reseal the main package and keep them in the refrigerator. Part of the issues with feeding this as with any jerky or even old fashioned chews is the bacteria. When they are wet the kind of bacteria that grows on pure protein can be pretty harsh. This mfg comes with a very nice brown paper porch and zip-seal.2) Make sure your dog finishes the chew. This is never an issue with my papillon as these are so tasty, but make sure in the beginning it is being finished. I will recommend splitting one strip into 2-3 pieces..3) The seller told me to only order one bag a time cuz this product does not have nay representatives, so it better to order 2-3 weeks' supply a time. Use a secondary zip lock bag to hold like 5 chews in it.
