The design is also clever, making it easy to use and maneuver the tip of the pen into tight spaces. I've found it to be very useful for testing gemstones and other small items. While it's still worth paying for in terms of quality and functionality, I do think that the price could be lower. ### ⭐ Review *by A***R on 16 August 2024* I had this probe pen for only a week and was very careful with it because the original pen that came with the presidium lasted about 2 months and the machine arrow malfunctioned , finding out from another user it could be the pen I bought another, which fixed the problem but this time the needle on the pen went into the probe and stayed there. I had only used it a handful of times was very upset . I am replacing it for the third and last time. but when the pen goes bad it can affect the machines function also so it is best to replace your pen probe before you replace the presidium. They need to make the safety cap so it stays on the pen it is rather useless . All I did was gently use my pen a few times and the needle disappeared into the pen. I will give up and go to another brand if this pen breaks.
