I have had this unboxed for barely 30 minutes and am already in love with it. It was super easy to plug-n-play and use the built in functions immediately. I have used old style, full-length keyboards for decades and was extremely hesitant to try out a mechanical keyboard, especially because of the noise I had heard from seeing video reviews and how unsure I was if I could deal with the loss of full buttonology. One major reason I looked into one of this type/size was that I realized one of the main reasons I have issues with soreness and pain in my left shoulder, neck, and upper arm is due to how I would position my left hand and tilt the keyboard in order to use the traditional movement keys WASX on a full sized keyboard for gaming. With this one, my arm is now in a natural resting position at 90 degrees against my side, negating the angular stress on all those muscle groups, and when I want to do some typing while gaming, I don't have to stretch across the board to my left as much with my right hand to get to home keys. Additionally, one big assumption killer was that, even though the size is cut down by a ton from a full-sized keyboard, the muscle memory transition to the slightly more compacted keys took hardly any time at all when typing with home keys. I type about 100 WPM, so I assumed I'd have a super difficult time with this aspect of the transition, but the spacing of keys doesn't have a huge difference of feel. The other big plus is that the noise level isn't huge on key press when gaming, and is not bothersome when typing; it's not that high pitched clickity clack you might get from many other types, rather a dull, thud-like sound. Now add in the amazing painted design (especially if you like Japanese wood block print/art), and the colored light functions, which mind you are accessible by using the keyboard and the built in mini screen aka not requiring you to download software, as well as the pre-programmed FN + functions that replace the buttons you lost from a full sized keyboard, and this thing is just a dream. HIGHLY RECOMMEND to one and all, especially old folks like me that are afraid to make that leap into transitioning to a mechanical style board. P.S.: If you're looking for actual dimensions of the keyboard itself, which are not on this desertcart page nor on the company's item page, they are approximately as follows: 12.75"x5.75"x1.375"-0.875" (the last number is the height, without the height extenders being used, at the top of the keyboard vs. at the bottom. it slopes upward towards the back) Review: I'm so glad I found this - I was a bit skeptical of this keyboard at first as there were no reviews for this model and for everything it offered for the price it seemed too good, that there had to be some shortcuts, however this keyboard has surprised me in every way and I'm glad I took the chance on this. Not only does the keyboard sound, feel and look amazing but the build quality is top notch too. While the housing is plastic so it's a bit lighter than other mechanical keyboards it still feels sturdy and I imagine it's how they can easily get the artwork on there which is phenomenal in quality. Even with this base they still managed to make it sound great, the switches and stabs feel like they're properly lubed with good enough dampening too with no pinging noise from what I can tell. And best of all the switches are hot swappable with either 5 or 3 pin switches!! The software for this keyboard is some of the best I've used as well. It offers the typical RGB customization for multiple effects (including audio spectrum), options to upload gifs to the little screen, and probably my favorite section that lets you customize literally any key you want; to do whatever you want: from media controls to making it do macros, to being a different key entirely. I was able to bind fn+shift to be print screen which is great since I use that key all the time. As for the screen.. it's alright really. The viewing angles aren't great but being able to have a little gif playing on your keyboard is kinda neat. My only personal gripe is the positioning of the arrow keys but it has grown on me a little. Overall this has been hands down the best keyboard I've had and I would easily recommend this keyboard if it suits your style. ## Features - Vibrant Color Multimedia Screen: The DIY multimedia display screen design in the upper right corner of the keyboard allows you to visualize in custom gif image, caps lock, connection mode, WIN/MAC, system, backlit brightness/speed, RGB mode/color, volume & language and more. Display screen 11°oblique angle height will be more in line with visual habits. - Black Theme Style 75% Gasket Mounted Mechanical Keyboard: The keyboard adopts the classic keycap cherry profile art theme keycaps. Experience maximum comfort while gaming with the S-K80's gasket mount design. The keyboard features an EVA positioning plate and bottom filling for a soft and responsive feel. The gasket mount design enhances stability and reduces typing noise for an immersive gaming experience. - Premium Hot-Swappable Custom Keyboard: The pre-lubed linear switches with south-facing transparent light diffusers provide a comfortable keystroke feeling, an amazing out-of-the-box clean typing sound. The hot swappable PCB of this gasket mounted keyboard is compatible with 3Pin or 5Pin Switches. - Pro Software Customizable Keyboard: The RGB Backlight mode, Macro and Gif image display settings of the keyboard can be fully customizable through the keyboard driver. For users who wish to customize their keyboards, these designs offer more alternatives. ( 'Music Syncing' mode enables rhythmic lighting patterns from music played.) - Ultimate RGB Backlighting: The keyboard has 19 lighting effects as well as 9 lighting colors, in addition to which the brightness and flow rate of the keyboard's lights can be adjusted. This themed keyboard is compatible for both Mac/Win system. The detachable TYPE-C connection provides you with the flexibility to connect various devices, making it an excellent choice for games and daily use. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0C9ZJHQHM | | Additional Features | 75% Keyboard, Animation Kanagawa Theme, Backlit, Customizable Display Keys, Hot-Swappable | | Antenna Location | Gaming | | Best Sellers Rank | #327 in Video Games ( See Top 100 in Video Games ) #34 in Computer Keyboards #43 in PC Gaming Keyboards | | Brand | Womier | | Built-In Media | USB Cable | | Button Quantity | 82 | | Color | SK80-Black | | Compatible Devices | Gaming Console | | Compatible Operating System Family | Windows | | Compatible Tablet Computer Models | AAUB P30 | | Connectivity Technology | USB-C | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 1,276 Reviews | | Enclosure Material | Metal | | External Testing Certification | A | | Global Trade Identification Number | 06979189090017 | | Hand Orientation | Ambidextrous | | Item Highlight | Creamy Sound Mechanical Wired Hot Swappable Gasket RGB Custom Key board, Pre-lubed Stabilizer for Mac/Win, Black Kanagawa | | Keyboard Backlighting Color Support | RGB | | Keyboard Description | Mechanical | | Keyboard Layout | QWERTY | | Manufacturer | Womier | | Mfr Part Number | SK80 75% Gaming Keyboard | | Model Number | S-K80 | | Number of Keys | 82 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Power Source | Corded Electric | | Recommended Uses For Product | Gaming | | Special Feature | 75% Keyboard, Animation Kanagawa Theme, Backlit, Customizable Display Keys, Hot-Swappable | | Style Name | Black Kanagawa | | Switch Type | Linear | | Theme | Rainbow | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | 1-year warranty | | Water Resistance Level | Not Water Resistant | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Womier - **Color:** SK80-Black - **Compatible Devices:** Gaming Console - **Connectivity Technology:** USB-C - **Keyboard Description:** Mechanical - **Keyboard backlighting color support:** RGB - **Material:** Metal - **Recommended Uses For Product:** Gaming - **Special Feature:** 75% Keyboard, Animation Kanagawa Theme, Backlit, Customizable Display Keys, Hot-Swappable - **Style:** Black Kanagawa ## Images ![Womier SK80 75% Keyboard with Color Multimedia Display Gaming Keyboard - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71hdClN+RtL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: did anyone recieve a gift from xvx shop instead of the keyboard? im just worried i really wanted the womier.** A: The product you commented on is a Womier SK87 keyboard with pudding keycaps. It is a mechanical keyboard of the Wmier brand. **Q: How do you take a screenshot with this keyboard on Mac? (Usually it's shift + command + 4 on the Apple magic keyboard)** A: Command (ctrl) in macOS system corresponds to win key in Windows system so：Shift+Win+4 **Q: would halo switches be compatible with this?** A: Womeir mechanical keyboard can be replaced by 3-pin or 5-pin mechanical switches. If the would halo switches are such switches, they can be used on Womier mechanical keyboard. **Q: Which switch makes the "thocky" noise?** A: If you like the feeling of typewriter feel and obvious click, you can choose the blue switch. I believe you will like the feel and sound of the blue switch. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Top Quality & Aesthetic Design *by J***N on March 21, 2024* If you are interested in transitioning from an old school to mechanical keyboard, want something with an absolutely sick looking design, is simple to use, and doesn't have insanely loud key press noises, this is definitely a top option! I already put my own GIF with a few to cycle, I love the switches it came with but had to go Silent bc I type in the same room my wife sleeps, IYKYK. I got the Kaihl silent voice and on the board it was easy to swap the switches with no issues, and I’ll probably put the stock switches it came with to my GS61. With the silent switches it makes a world of difference and just made me fall in love more with this board, will definitely keep this as my main board for my PC and use my other for my travel/school stuff. Anyways Great product. ## Frequently Bought Together - Womier S-K80 75% Keyboard with Color Multimedia Display Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, Wired Hot Swappable Gasket Mount RGB Custom Key Board, Pre-lubed Stabilizer for Mac/Win, Black Kanagawa - COSTOM Womier G705 USB Wired Gaming Mouse for PC Computer Windows Mac Laptop, Lightweight Silent RGB Backlit Mouse with Adjustable 12000DPI/7 Programmable Side Buttons,Black Kanagawa Theme - MEWOOCUE® Gaming Mouse Pad for Desk,Large Wave Mousepad Laptop,Black Japanese Anime Mouse Mat,Long XXL Waterproof Keyboard Pads,Big Non-Slip Mousepads for Game Office Home（31.5 x 11.9 in） --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.kg/products/553731298-womier-sk80-75-keyboard-with-color-multimedia-display-gaming-keyboard](https://www.desertcart.kg/products/553731298-womier-sk80-75-keyboard-with-color-multimedia-display-gaming-keyboard) --- *Product available on Desertcart Kyrgyzstan* *Store origin: KG* *Last updated: 2026-10-10*
