A: They are in basement hopper windows, and those windows can close with the screens in place.

A: Our window screens use a highly durable fiberglass mesh, and many of our customers have had success using them around their pets. However, we do not guarantee that our screens are claw-proof and we always recommend using caution around pets, as they are not designed to keep pets contained or prevent scratching.

**Q: Does this fit a regular window frame - where the screen for an aluminum or vinyl window would normally go?**
