They have a good hand-feel. If you know how to throw knives, you should be able to throw virtually any type of knife.The metal used is simple cold-rolled stainless steel. The edge and tip will fade after a few missed throws. I've had to straighten these out a couple of times to get them back into the proper shape.The wrapping on the handle comes off almost immediately with use. I ended up messing around with whipping these at my target like a sling. fun, but not practical and VERY dangerous if done outside. Had blades stuck to my garage ceiling, lol.
