Review: Plain but more minimalistic in design - This is as it seems a plain clock, no frills but it is plain enough to be used in any room. The black casing is understated and it does not on first viewing appear to be an alarm clock. I like this item and would buy it for others as a gift.
Review: It's silent for about an hour - It's a nice thing, but the silent operation does gets distinctly less silent over a surprisingly short time, and you start to hear it from further and further away. Still, it's a nice looking thing. Be wary of knocking it over, though, the hand mechanism will come loose. I'm on my second one of these and extra careful when dusting now... ;)
