My only issue is that the shoulder and belt padding is also minimalist, which might be fine for many hikers but not for my ancient and degenerated joints. This is a comfortable, adjustable day hike pack with great and useful features considering its light weight. It holds a ton, and its pockets are useful. My only issue is that the shoulder and belt padding is also minimalist, which might be fine for many hikers but not for my ancient and degenerated joints. If it had a bit more padding, I would love this.

Searched all over for the perfect bag (that doesn’t exist btw) and this came close. Good size. Big enough for all the uses but not huge. Super lightweight. Love the shoulder strap pocket but ultimately it doesn’t fit my phone so not worth it to me. Cons (for me): no integrated rain fly, no internal pockets, wimpy water bladder pocket, metal rigid frame. Pros: lightweight, stretchy side pockets, shoulder strap pocket, waist pocket. Ultimately I returned it, narrowly edged out by osprey (double waist pockets, internal pockets for storage, flexible frame).
