Formula has changed enough that this does NOT work for me any more. I've been trying to use the new formula for 2 months with no help. I found a company that sells the old formula and it worked as it always had. It also no longer mixes well (very clumpy) and tastes bad. ..... The only reason this gets 4 stars is because the price fluctuates between $25 and $50. I feel that $25 if pricey, but I usually buy a few at that price so that I can have it on hand. $50 is way too much for a month supply. I have had UTIs for almost five years now. I was on antibiotics every other month for a few years until my Dr. put me on a low dose for 12 months. After this, though, I still got UTI's. I went to see a different specialist and he recommend D-Mannose. This is the first brand that I tried. A couple other brands did not work for me at all, but this one has worked wonders for a couple years. I take about a third to half a scoop three times a day (always one right before bed), and I can feel confident I won't get an infection. If I take less or miss a couple of doses (sometimes I forget in the afternoon), I almost always get a UTI. I have not found that it will "cure" a UTI if I use it after I feel symptoms; I have to go back to antibiotics to get rid of symptoms.
