I often put these in my bag as they don't need refrigeration or heating and they're so easy to just get out if there's no available veggie option when out. I've eaten one when out shopping while walking outside, so you can eat them anywhere. I've bought seitan type products from vegetarian fares and not been impressed; to be honest nothing is as good as this. There's obviously a use by date but you'll have plenty of time to use them, months. Do try them whether you're a veggie or meat eater. I'll be ordering more soon as I've only got one left.
