At first it worked fine but after a couple months I noticed I could not override the timer by pressing the manual power button on the unit - the only way to turn on an outlet that had "timed out" was to access the app and turn it on remotely. As far as I'm concerned that's a design fail - if I'm sitting right next to the power strip I should be able to turn it on without finding my phone! I was able to "fix" the issue by disabling the app and effectively turning the power strip back into a "dumb" appliance but that of course undermines the whole point of having a smart power strip. ### ⭐ Same Jinvoo junk under a different name. *by G***R on Reviewed in the United States on January 9, 2018* This is a Jinvoo product being sold under a different name. You download the app Tuya, not Smart Life. This company seems to be selling their products and creating the same app under different names, which are all garbage. Jinvoo app wants access to your contacts for some odd reason and Tuya connected once, then kept saying the device was offline.
