Very easy to use. My only minor complaint is that the battery doesn’t seem to last that long. In spite of that, I was glad I purchased this as this selfie stick was essential in getting the shots I wanted. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice QuadPod, easy Bluetooth pairing *by D***N on Reviewed in the United States on 21 October 2022* This is my first experience with a selfie stick, mainly because I've never been interested in taking selfies - I got this for the "Quadpod" feature so that I can get steady shots and videos for doing more item reviews. If you've ever tried to do a video with your phone in one hand and having to maneuver things with the other, then you know how annoying it can be to end up with a sloppy / shaky video and sometimes end up having to redo it.I looked at some of the other ones out there with the Tripod (3 legs as opposed this 4-leg Quadpod) and most of them just don't seem stable enough for things like angled videos with today's newer larger phones, and I wouldn't want to see an expensive smartphone topple of a table onto the floor. No worries about that with this - the 4 legs give that extra level of balance and stability.The Bluetooth remote trigger seems to have excellent range (I've tested it up to about 23 feet away so far) and pops out of the handle easily when needed. The white Quadpod model I got does not have a rechargeable battery. Instead, it uses a single thin CR1620 battery (included), which are readily available in multi-packs for around five bucks here on Amazon, so no worries about ever running out of batteries. It's a little tricky to open / remove / replace the battery for me since it's a small tight fit and my hands are a bit large, and my dexterity isn't always great, but with a little fumbling I'm able to remove / replace the battery. I do wish there were a battery level indicator light on the remote to let me know when it's time to replace it, but not really a big deal.As far as using it as a selfie stick instead of the Quadpod mode, I can only give my opinions as someone who has never used a selfie stick before. When stretched out to full length I do have a tough time getting a steady shot - I think this is in part because the pole becomes slightly jittery when fully extended and the phone becomes the heavy end. Sliding it to one of the shorter lengths certainly seems to help with this. I'm sure with more time and practice with it my selfie shots will improve, but again I mainly wanted it for the pod feature.The clamp that holds the phone is kind of spring-loaded and seems a bit stuff when stretching to place my phone in it, but it does fit my Galaxy S10 very well and definitely holds it in place securely. No worries about the phone slipping out of this holder! And the swivel / angles of the clamp are very useful.Overall, at the $25 price range, I think this device is worth it and will definitely come in handy for future reviews. It's lightweight yet still pretty sturdy, and extremely easy to use. Pairing the Bluetooth remote with my phone was a breeze.
