Introducing my young edgy teen, has been rewarding and interesting to see if the tech age kids can go for it. She does! I guess the love some have for horses is the foot hold in this story. Texas is a teen being looked after by his older brother Mace. Mace does something that is unforgivable in Tex's eyes, but vital to their survival in their hick town. Some people are stayers and some people are leavers, then their Pop comes back. A truth slips out and anger takes on a life of it's own, then leaves a nasty trail. It all seems so hopeless when Jamie becomes the forbidden light at the end of Tex's tunnel. I still have the teen in me after all these years. I'm so glad there is no such thing as out growing S. E. Hinton.

S.E. Hinton is back in my life! Introducing my young edgy teen, has been rewarding and interesting to see if the tech age kids can go for it. She does!
