I just wet it and use the sponge to exfoliate my face in the am and pm. It’s so soft and gentle. It feels almost soapy when wet, so I don’t even need to add a face wash to it. The only thing is that after a month of using, it does lose it’s shape and it becomes hard as a rock. These sponges are comparable in terms of cleansing and exfoliating. Be aware that these are extremely thin (about 1/4"), are somewhat difficult to hold, and wear out faster than the Boscia. Don't get me wrong, these are not bad and if you haven't used the Boscia you may not have any complaints about these at all.
