Review: Wow!!! Amazingly sharp, can be sharpened, can go in dishwasher, American made, etc... - Wanted to get a great set of knives for a high-end beach rental property, but didn't want to break the bank doing it. And more importantly, even though it's a high-end vacation rental, they're still renters and will put everything in the dishwasher and there's nothing you can do to stop that. So after a lot of research I ended up with these. We've been using them for a month so far and all the friends and family who have been down have raved about them as the best steak knives they have ever used in their lives. They don't TEAR at the steak, they slice through it like butter... I think one or two of the 18 knives we bought had rust spots after the first time through the dishwasher, but the rest of them are fine after dozens of washes. I literally use them for everything (steak, chopping veggies, cutting limes, opening bags, etc...) even though we also bought their regular knife set as well as these steak knives. They still seem as sharp as the day we got them. I also bought the cheap Rada knife sharpener, which I love, but I've only sharpened one of the knives so far (after I used it to cut up a big cardboard box because I was too lazy to get my utility knife). A few swipes through the sharpener and it was good as new. I liked the fact that they were not serrated so that they could be sharpened regularly to keep that WOW factor for years. We will stay at our rental ourselves a few times throughout the year and I'll just swipe them all through the sharpener each time we are here. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Review: American Made knives - Beautiful sturdy sharp American Made knives. No need to buy anything else. Excellent price point as well. I have been using this brand for decades without issue. ## Features - 6-Piece Utility Steak Knife Gift Set: Includes six knives perfect for on the table or for meal prep - Blades: Made with T420 high-carbon stainless steel for durability and a hollow ground for incredible sharpness to retain their edges - Handles: Handwash, silver handles are made from permanently cast brushed aluminum and a satin finish - Favored Uses: Right for cutting off a nice-sized hunk of thick, juicy meat or slicing larger fruits and veggies like mangoes and sweet potatoes - Made in the USA: Proudly manufactured in the United States from raw materials all the way through construction ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B000FZ1V9O | | Best Sellers Rank | #50,832 in Kitchen & Dining ( See Top 100 in Kitchen & Dining ) #77 in Steak Knife Sets | | Blade Color | Silver | | Blade Edge | Steak Knife | | Blade Length | 4.75 inches | | Blade Material | Stainless Steel | | Blade Material Type | Stainless Steel | | BladeLength | 4.75 inches | | Brand | RADA | | Brand Name | RADA | | Color | Silver | | Construction Type | Forged | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 2,476 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00082449000117 | | Handle Material | Stainless Steel | | Included Components | 6-Piece Utility Steak Knife | | Item Highlight | 6-Piece Knife Set , Stainless Steel Blade, Cast Aluminum Handle | | Item Length | 8.5 inches | | Item Type Name | Stainless Steel Blades With Aluminum Handles, Set of 6 | | Item Weight | 13.44 ounces | | Manufacturer | Rada Cutlery | | Manufacturer Part Number | S06 | | Material Type | T420 high-carbon stainless steel, Aluminum | | Model Number | S06 | | Number of Items | 6 | | Set Name | Six Utility/Steak Knives Gift Set | | Size | 4.875" blade | | UPC | 082449000117 | | Unit Count | 6 Count | ## Product Details - **Blade Edge:** Steak Knife - **Blade Material:** Stainless Steel - **Brand:** RADA - **Color:** Silver - **Handle Material:** Stainless Steel ## Images ![RADA Cutlery Six Utility/Steak Knives Gift Set (S06), Silver - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61lxjU0cO4L.jpg) ![RADA Cutlery Six Utility/Steak Knives Gift Set (S06), Silver - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61iwvius84L.jpg) ![RADA Cutlery Six Utility/Steak Knives Gift Set (S06), Silver - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61pu3G9cvbL.jpg) ![RADA Cutlery Six Utility/Steak Knives Gift Set (S06), Silver - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41pFDIUDZ6L.jpg) ![RADA Cutlery Six Utility/Steak Knives Gift Set (S06), Silver - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/715G2V+sEYL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Bought and returned these knives, and needs to be added back to wedding registry** A: Don’t know.
