The material feels super soft and is very smooth to touch. It's a perfect fit for my pillows, which are quite deep. I wouldn't say the material is thick but it's very good quality.I use them under the pillows that match my duvet, and even though they're both smooth material, they don't slip off each other.There's a decent sized slat inside to tuck the pillow into, and after three weeks, the pillow hasn't popped out of the slip. I've washed them twice, and they're good as new once dry, which doesn't take long as the material in very light. They haven't gone bobbly like some slips do.I've taken several photos of one of these pillow slips, and it always looks blue, but they definitely are navy but not a dark navy.
