I also have a cloud backup of critical data and a USB backup drive for periodic data backup. I work in IT and see data loss on a weekly basis by people who have all their data on one location. It is very easy to set up, and although it's a plastic case, it is still well made. I have two other Synology NAS units and this is a different model the operating system is the same and it all works in exactly the same way. Unfortunately, this unit came without a UK 13 amp plug cable or adaptor. This is actually a legal requirement in the UK and I should have sent it back, but I didn't want the hassle of sending it back and reordering, so I dug around in my stock of old PC power cables, calculated what fuse to put in and used that instead. Overall a very good product and can recommend it.
