All the buttons and switches are tight. The cord wrap is not flimsy. I can't imagine wanting to buy an $80-dollar iron if this one is available. This is a very hot iron, so you will not want to drop it on carpeted floor.

I like this iron. I would have given it five stars but the cord is a little too short and I do have to finagle the retractable cord back into the casing, which is a bother. Still, the unit works very well, has a good steam and spray feature and is easy to clean. Definitely recommend.
