I have some 3 ton ones, but they're a little on the shorter end. These are nice and tall which work a lot better for my truck.6 tons may be a little too much for most vehicles, however the height, sturdiness and safety features was what sold me on these. They are solidly built with some weight to them and to me weight equals quality. They are very stable on flat surfaces, and little to no wobble on uneven ones.They do stand taller than a standard 3 ton which is a big plus for off road vehicles and pickups. The regular safety latch is present, however it does have a secondary safety pin made of solid steel than you insert into the latch area. With both safeties, it's nice and firm and appears it ain't going anywhere.Overall, these are a solid choice for jack stands based on overall safety features, height and craftsmanship.
