My mistake was biting down fully and this made for a poor fit on the first try, too much material between my bite made it feel like my bottom teeth were being pushed. When I tried refitting I didn’t do a very good job and ended up basically destroying the guard. Thankfully there was another one in the package. My first fitting on that one was better though still needed adjusting, by the second molding on that one it was a great fit and is extremely comfortable. I recently bought a $450 replacement night guard from my dentist (I’ve always gotten them from the dentist) that I can’t wear because the lab did such a poor job making the guard and the dentist couldn’t successfully adjust it after 3 different attempts.
