## Description

Get sequential read/write speeds up to 12,400/11,800MB/s and random IOPS up to 1,500K with this premium SSD featuring a heatsink for optimal thermal management.

Review: Fast but beware of thermal paste application - Quick drive, mine thermal throttled a lot with the stock heatsink. Replaced with a new one and turns out they'd misplaced the thermal paste so it wasn't in contact with the chips on the pcb so if there is very high temperatures at idle check the thermal paste
Review: This SSD is expensive and would not work with a MAC studio - AVOID, AVOID - Bought, delivered and failed immediately when attempted to initialise on MAC. Returned and Replacement bought….same story. Very promising speed offered BUT you have to deliver a working product. Tech suppport offered limited help (almost turn it off and back on again) which included needing a windows computer (but I’m ringing about a MAC!). Might be slower but maybe try Samsung 990 series…..

## Questions & Answers

**Q: If you buy the heatsink version of this drive, then decide to use the motherboard heatsink instead, can the heatsink be easily removed?**
A: it works the same as the motherboard heatsink, difference is that you might have to pry some force to disconnect it, if you go to the crucial website there's plenty of articles on how to do it

**Q: Can this be used for ps5?**
A: It can be used for PS5 but since the T700 is gen5 you're not gonna see an increase in performance compared to any other gen4 m.2, as the PS5 is gen4
