The Carlube was a little bit darker. I took some careful pictures to show that…….but now they are on my computer it is impossible to see. I could smell and taste the oil and it wouldn't mean a thing. The ratings are exactly the same as any other oil, so it can not be too different. We are taking care of our old Fiat Punto. This low price means we can do an oil change with a nice Bosch filter more frequently rather than stretch out the intervals with 'the good oil'. It's a theory, and we are sticking to it. Including 2.8 litres of oil and 4pounds for the filter we get an oil change for just over a tenner…….nice. The old habit of changing the oil every 7-10k miles is done. We will change it around 3,500miles now.
