I too have had this problem. A friend help open simply being stronger. I just recieved another years order, with a bottle missing and the clicking Pepto Bismal syndrome. Here's how you navigate this. You take a screwdriver. Jam the screwdriver up under between the lid and bottle and simply turn the screwdriver a half of circle. I repeat this again on the other side too.
