## Description

The RESCUE! POP! Fly Trap catches common nuisance or filth flies around the home and in agricultural settings. This trap is formulated to lure hundreds of the most prevalent fly species including house flies, false stable flies, blow flies, blue and green bottle flies, flesh flies, face flies and many others. The RESCUE! POP! Fly Trap comes with one packet of water-soluble attractant packaged inside a foil pouch. Just empty the contents of the foil pouch into the trap and add water. Lured by the scent, flies enter through the yellow top cap and drown in the water. Once the RESCUE! POP! Fly Trap has fulfilled its desired use and reuse, the plastic components can and should be recycled. The RESCUE! POP! Fly Trap is intended for use outdoors. Review: This fly trap is easy to set up and works very well. It does STINK but that's to be expected if it attracts flies. It worked wonders outside on our deck last summer and we will be using it again this year.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What's the best way to dispose of the dead flies and how to clean the trap?**
A: It keeps working even as the stinky liquid dries up, so I let the container mostly dry out and then dig a hole and bury the contents due to the stinkiness.  You could let it dry out all of the way.  You don't really need to "clean it"  after dumping out the dead flies - just add new attractant. A bonus is that birds start hanging around and swoop down to catch the flies before they even enter the container. They are reusable and the least expensive "trap" of this style.  You can buy refills of the mix to make the smelly attractant. I clean them up and bring them in for the Winter and they last for years. I really like these - I have used them for years and they work really well!

**Q: Does it works for mosquitoes?**
A: I’m not sure, but I don’t think so.  I’ve never seen any mosquitoes inside.

**Q: Are  you suppose to mix this up, it does not say on package and the stuff is just sitting at the bottom of trap?**
A: I just drop the clear film with the fly attractant to the bottom of the jar and add water to the line.  The film dissolves and mixes with the water.  The idea is to not have to touch it, due to the smell.  You could carefully swirl the jar around to speed the mixing along.  I've used these for years and they are effective - very effective.

**Q: How far away does the attractant work? Curious how close I must put it to where we sit.**
A: Mine is about 100m away from where we sit and it works really well. My only complaint is sometimes I can smell the attractant if the wind is blowing towards us. It’s pretty strong.
