I couldn’t wait to turn the pages - I was hooked from the start by the first couple of chapters alone. A brilliant storyline. I couldn’t wait to turn the pages, see what else had been thrown into the mix to confuse me and keep me guessing....which I did until the very end. Really well written, fast paced with chapters that give you that “Just one more chapter” mentality. A wonderful book that the author has done well to put together, the flowing writing keeping the reader held within its pages. Highly recommend this one. Review: The Pool House - Jen and her husband Nat are invited to spend summer in the Hamptons with a group of new friends. Jem soon finds out that they are taking the place of Alice, a woman who mysteriously drowned in the pool. The other housemates try to tell her that Alices death was an accident but they all have something to hide. This was a good storyline and was easy to follow. We go back and forwards from Jens summer to Alices summer in the Hamptons. I didn’t like many characters because they all through they could do whatever they liked to get what they wanted but I feel the characters had to be like that to make the story work. Lots of good locations and lots of lies and secrets, this book keeps you turning the pages until the end. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Best Sellers Rank | 1,993,314 in Books ( See Top 100 in Books ) 19,371 in Contemporary Fiction (Books) 92,581 in Literary Fiction (Books) | | Customer reviews | 4.3 4.3 out of 5 stars (3,853) | | Dimensions | 15.7 x 3.6 x 23.4 cm | | Edition | 1st | | ISBN-10 | 147220851X | | ISBN-13 | 978-1472208514 | | Item weight | 624 g | | Language | English | | Print length | 480 pages | | Publication date | 7 Sept. 2017 | | Publisher | Headline Review | ## Images ![The Pool House: Tasmina Perry - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71LJvSQ-mgL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A brilliant storyline. There’s no way you couldn’t love this book. Past to present will tell the story and make you wanna read more until all of a sudden you have finished the book. Would kinda love a sequel but also it didn’t end on a cliffhanger so don’t worry :) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.kg/products/53283095-the-pool-house-tasmina-perry](https://www.desertcart.kg/products/53283095-the-pool-house-tasmina-perry) --- *Product available on Desertcart Kyrgyzstan* *Store origin: KG* *Last updated: 2026-10-14*
