Review: WORKS LIKE MAGIC - I have had issues with staying asleep, I maybe get 3 hours of sleep or none at all. Very hard to fall asleep and tried everything under the sun. I received this last night took two at 8pm fell asleep at 8:30 per my husband and I woke up with my alarm at 4:40, I still felt a little tired and forced myself to get up at 5:00. wow never heard my husband leave for work nor did I hear the annoying ring bell that normally goes on when my husband leaves since we have a camera by our exit gate. It was strange not to wake up for these things that I would have normally since I am half wake usually, but not this time, I will do this every night for a week so I can catch up.
Review: VERY easy to take - For me, personally, this product works wonders. Lately my sleep schedule has been messed up-- I'd sleep until noon and stay awake until 4am. It happens every summer--I treat myself to a few days of sleeping in to reward my year's hard work, and then it would spiral out of control until it was just habit. But I need to stop now that I'm in college and I have adulting to do. So I figured I'd use this once or twice to get me into bed at a reasonable time, so I'd wake up at a reasonable time. I took it at midnight, got in bed, and was out in half an hour. Which is insane. Because it normally takes me two hours to fall asleep. I woke up refreshed and I wasn't achey or groggy at all. I also gave two liquicaps to my roommate. She had only slept ten hours in the past four days due to excessive nightmares. She took it, knocked out, and slept for ten hours. Doubled her sleep count instantly! She said she didn't necessarily wake up refreshed, but that she was rested, which is what she needed. Now, I know that this is the same thing as benadryl. Same ingredient. But honestly, the effects seem stronger with this. This is most likely due to the placebo effect--you think you're getting something tailored specifically to help you sleep. The packaging is nice--its purple night with stars everywhere!! So comforting. And then the liquid gels look fancy--they're small and purple. VERY easy to take. So when you get these, you think, yeah, these are gonna help me sleep. And then they do!! Because that's how powerful your mind is. Even when you KNOW its a placebo (and these technically aren't, since they DO have an ingredient in them), it works. So yeah, you can skip the whole moon and the zzz's and the stars, but when you swap it out for neon pink pills... you're taking away the placebo effect, which is why (I think, as a psychology student) these work so well. These would work well for the occasional night that you cant get to sleep for anything--the tossing and turning and worrying kind. Or when you need to fix your sleep schedule. Or when you need to stop dreaming as much.

**Q: What ingredient does it have**
A: says right on the picture of the box. Diphenhydramine HCL, the only active ingredient in Benadryl. Literally the only active ingredient in ZzzQuil is the only active ingredient of benadryl. The liquid form of Zzzquil also has small amount of alcohol to amplify the effect of the Diphenhydramine HCL, which is actually something Benadryl states NOT TO DO (drink alcohol with benadryl) because it interacts and amplifies the effects of the benadryl .

**Q: What does it taste like**
A: This is a capsule. It doesn't taste like anything.

**Q: Can I use it to sleep early if I woke up really late?**
A: Yes you can.

**Q: Could someone please tell me what the difference is between this and Benadryl...other than Benadryl being pink and this being purple?**
A: Nothing important. The active ingredient in Zzquil is Diphenhydramine. So is the same in Benadryl. Now the Zzquil has a small percentage of alcohol in it to enhance the performance of the diphenhydramine, whereas the Benadryl doesn't.
