Velco closure?** A: It's made of a neoprene type material. Its still packed with Christmas stuff but I think it is a Velcro closure. It's looks great and worked nicely. Very glad I purchased it **Q: How tall is it?** A: Hi there! 8 inches and it can be folded or cut shorter very easily **Q: is this a set of two?** A: Kind of because it's reverseable. Wood look on one side, candy cane on other. **Q: Could I combine two to create a wider tree base?** A: Yes you could technically attach 2 products to wrap around a wider pole base, however we would not recommend this unless the base pole diameter is quite large.
