While one side is attatched the otherside just clips over which is the side that kept popping off eventually leading to the handle breaking off altogether, if they came attached either side it would be fantastic. It is light and it has saved the iPad from damage due to the thick rubber that goes all the way around. The handle is not thick enough and strong enough to handle being moved up and down the pin - which it does so the handle can lie flat. It was a bit tricky to get on initially as it is a snug fit although once on it fits great and seems to give very good protection. There are spaces for the charger and headphones and camera lens and a handle. Ridges on the open flap allows you to prop the ipad up when watching it.
