**Q: If I buy multiple locks are they keyed alike?**
A: These are master lock brand...so if you take the puck into any locksmith shop they'll be able to key them all alike for a reasonable price. $20 a piece or less. (I'm a locksmith myself F.Y.I.)

**Q: Can carriage bolts be hidden? If used on shed doors, wouldn’t thieves be able to remove bolts/unscrew the whole plate from the doors?**
A: Carriage bolts would go through the six holes you see in the plates in the picture.  To get the mechanism off, thieves would have to grind the heads off of the carriage bolts.  At that point the whole lock system would be easy to pry off.  You could use construction adhesive or something of the sort on the back of the plates when you mount them to make them harder to remove.  If it's a metal shed, you could weld the plates directly to the outside of the building.  That would take this system to the next level.  If you're so inclined, you could also weld the carriage bolts to the metal plates when you're installing it.  Regardless, carriage bolts alone will result in grinding being necessary to get past this lock.

**Q: can these be keyed alike?**
A: Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee keyed alike units on this marketplace.

**Q: Can you remove the core and replace with a best core?**
A: Yes.  Just have to verify fitment.

These locks are heavy, heavy duty locks. I love that these set-of-three Shackle Locks and Hasps are identically keyed. I also love that my set-of-three locks ship with a total of SIX identical keys. Most people use these to secure their vans' rear double doors. But, I used them to secure the double doors of my three wooden sheds. One of my sheds was broken into recently. Someone used a hammer to break the flimsy door lock that came standard with the shed I didn't find anything missing, but it left me with a broken door lock. I wanted a much stronger lock for that shed. I also wanted stronger locks for my two other sheds that had not been broken into -- yet. I also wanted to be able to not have to fumble around with my set of keys to find the right key for each shed. That was something I disliked about the three sheds' locks that I already owned. My contractor friend was surprised that I could find a set-of-three identically-keyed Shackle Locks and Hasps. He had separately bought several nearly identical locks for his vans, but because his locks were each individually keyed, he had to fumble to find the right key for each van -- while standing in the rain, wind, or snow.
