A: My grandson used it for naps at my house till he was about 18 months.

**Q: what is the padding made of?**
A: padding is made of polyester sheets. The outside of the mat is made of 100% cotton material. Inside of the mat is polyester.

**Q: Is the mat and cover machine washable?**
A: Yes, I've washed them in Dreft.. No problem.
