Review: Very nice mic, punches above its price range. - I meant to by the condenser version by the same company which has a similar model number. Anyway, can't say it was a happy accident but the quality of this mic means I'm definitely getting the condenser version from FIFINE. I've not used expensive mics or even a Shure 57/58. I have some cheap Audio Technica and unknown brand dynamics. They cost about $20-$40 I'm guessing about 30 years ago for comparison. This mic sounds better than those. It has the usual lower end boomyness of dynamic mics but it captures the higher frequencies well imo. I've only used it on vocals and I think it sounds fine. A $1000 mic isn't going to add much, if anything, to my voice. This is a perfectly good mic as far as I'm concerned. Keep in mind I'm a hobbyist with no experience with pro gear, whatever that means. The build seems to be of good quality. Metal enclosure and is pretty heavy for a mic. Includes a table top tripod which is cool. Good mic for the price.
Review: Surprisingly Good! - As a self-funded podcaster who has not "blown up" yet, these are good sounding options for those that are not yet in the SM7B club. I also needed four of these to accommodate a group of interviewees so four mics for < $150 (at that time) was a great option for me. Since I have some audio engineering skills, I can shape the small imperfections out in post, so this may not be for the less technically minded. These mics seem to boost the lows in order to create richness - unfortunately, this also picks up movements from the interviewees, bumps against the boom stand, etc. To combat this, I use suspension-style shock mounts on the booms (Versus the included hard shock mounts) as well as an EQ preset I have in audition. Add in some compression and noise gating and now you have pro-sounding podcast. I was pleasantly surprised at the rich, radio-host like quality and clarity I was able to extract from these inexpensive mics. I was also pleased at the amount of side/rear sound rejection - there was little to no bleed between mics, as we had three interviewees right next to each other on a couch; each with their own mic. If you have a few tech skills, you can make these sound very professional. May not be the best option if you just want to "record an post" without some post production tweaking.

## Features

- [Upgraded XLR Mic] XLR microphone with stability and anti-interference ability upgrades your recording audio performance. Reliable XLR connector paired with audio interface or mixer to work together brings your podcast or stream channel up a perspective notch. Podcast mic with audio flexibility for different types of gaming/vocal/singing gains more listeners and audiences. (Only available for XLR connection)
- [Noise Shielding] Having a low noise floor, vocal dynamic microphone is good at blocking out background noises and keeping natural original sound to your voice. Cooperated with unidirectional pattern, the recording studio microphone minimizes tinny popping booming around. The dynamic cardioid microphone reduces time to use software processing to isolate noises for clean sound.
- [Studio Audio Performance] Worked with SPL of 120dB, the XLR dynamic microphone takes in high energy and handles loud or screaming vocals easily to present soft and smooth mid, high, low audio. Dynamic microphone streaming with three layer shockproof reduces unwanted vibrations or annoying sound of reflection even in untreated room, resulting in pure recording. (Tips: Keep the top of end-addressing XLR dynamic mic facing audio source, and suggested recording range is 1.5 to 4 in.)
- [Sturdy and Metallic] The metal build quality of voice over microphone feels solid and well-constructed. Sleek metal and durable grille enhances durability of the recording XLR microphone to avoid accidental wear. With 3/8’’ and 5/8’’ threads, the studio microphone available with most mic stand for easy installation no matter home studio or outdoor recording.
- [Multipurpose Use] Whether you're running live streaming or YouTube video channel, the vocal microphone XLR will not break the bank. Connect the XLR streamer mic with different audio interface or mixer to improve sound quality upgradability. Your real voice will be highlighted and probably shine in game voice commentary, podcast narration, audio books, voice-over or more. (XLR Cable NOT Included)
- Tips: 1) Only available for XLR connection. 2) XLR Cable NOT Included 3) Package including: XLR Microphone, Tripod Stand, User's Manual.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How does this compare to the podmic?**
A: I absolutely love the podmic. It was one of my first mics, and I can honestly say I like the FiFine better in both price and sound. The Podmic is very thin on the low end, and the FiFine k669d sits very nicely in that low end while still maintaining the mids and high end evenly. Build quality for both are amazing, both built like a tank!

**Q: Does anyone know the diameter of this mic? If I wanted to use a windscreen.**
A: It has a diameter of 4.5cm and a length of 7.5cm.
