Unfortunately it has the same problem than most. If you are looking for no residue in your tea, this is not the strainer for you and a fabric one would do that job much better. If you do not mind the residue this is an excellent quality product (fantastic materials and construction) that will last long and with a mechanisn that alllows you to put a great amount of leaves (bigger ones work best) and get three to four cups out of one load. It is quite big and long not suitable to leave inside the mug. Review: ... zugegeben, das Handling ist sehr schön: aufdrücken, Tee rein und wieder schließen. Auch umrühren kann man dann damit prima. Jedoch ist die Verarbeitung einfach saumäßig. Unser Erster hat gerade mal 11 Monate gehalten. Der zweite kam bereits schief gebogen an. Auf meine Mail hin bat man mich, das Ding geradezubiegen. Habe ich zwar getan, jedoch hat es geknackt, somit ist der baldige Ausfall vorprogrammiert.....
